I run a combo of sitka, first lite and kuiu but im in wyoming and hunt a few states a year. “worth it” or not is definitely a matter of perspective. Sitka spruce can live for hundreds of years, with the oldest recorded tree being over 950 years old.

The price is steap but in this video i give you the reason's why you. I am a very small person 140 pounds and like 6% body fat staying warm and comfortable for time in the stand is a challenge sometimes. The average lifespan of a sitka spruce is between 200 and 300 years.
